Made for easy getaways and quality time together, Cedar Ridge gives you the best of both worlds: peaceful privacy at the cabin, with quick access to the Gorge’s trails, climbing spots, lakes, and local favorites.
The Space
Designed to sleep up to 6 guests, Cedar Ridge blends warm, lodge-style comfort with modern convenience—perfect for families or small groups. Inside you’ll find:

You’ll have full access to the entire cabin. Check-in is simple and begins at 4:00 PM, with check-out at 11:00 AM. Our team is always available through the Airbnb app if you need anything during your stay.

The cabin is in a rural wooded area—occasional weather or power interruptions may occur. We’ll assist quickly, but some conditions are outside our control.
If your stay includes a hot tub: it’s serviced regularly, but rare mechanical issues can happen in remote areas, and refunds aren’t issued for temporary downtime.
Gas fireplace is disabled April 15–October 15.

Cedar Ridge is secluded and away from the chaos, yet close to the greatest area attractions in Red River Gorge.
Located just 10 minutes from Campton lake where you can enjoy fishing, canoeing or hiking.
The famous Nada Tunnel entrance to the Red River Gorge is just 15 minutes away from the property. You don't want to miss this! This is where you will find countless hiking trails, rock climbing, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, sight-seeing.
For a memorable experience, hike to the famous swinging bridge over the Red River, located upriver from the Jump Rock and Swimming Hole.
Natural Bridge State Resort Park features the Natural Bridge, a million-years-old sandstone arch, which is accessible by hiking up and down the huge mountain or by taking a slow and easy ride on the sky lift. For water activities, like fishing, kayaking, canoeing and stand up paddleboarding, make your way to nearby Mill Creek Lake.
See the mountains from a whole new perspective when you go ziplining over the treetops for a challenging thrill in Cliffview, or drive through the Gorge to the family-friendly zipline spot in Frenchburg, where everyone from kids to grandpa can have a ball!
If you're looking for even more thrills, visit Southeast Mountain Guides for world-famous rock climbing and rappelling! They offer guided climbs if you're new to the activity.
Guests enjoy access to Lux in the Gorge’s shared amenities, including a man-made pond with dock and water gear, plus a convenient laundry area with shared washer/dryers for pondside cabins. You’ll also have access to the resort game room—located about a quarter mile from the cabin—featuring pool, ping pong, foosball, shuffleboard, air hockey, and more, open daily from 6:00 AM to midnight.
Kids will love the Kentucky Reptile Zoo, which offers in-person venom extractions. Stop by Thrillsville to go kayaking through the 100-year-old limestone cave and putt-putt golf that kids and even the grandparents will enjoy.
If you love horseback riding, Whispering Valley Riding Trails are just 20 minutes away in Beattyville, where you will see waterfalls, ponds, rock outcroppings as you ride under the canopy of trees. The views are sure to be amazing!
Great restaurants are also nearby! Be sure to check out Miguel's Pizza, a classic restaurant that has been around for 30 years, Red River Rockhouse, a newer restaurant owned by young rock climbers, Smokehouse BBQ, and Sky Bridge Station, which features gourmet hot dogs and beer on tap. 145 Steakout is another Great option only a couple minutes from the cabin with lots of beers on tap!Guests will have access to entire property.

HOT TUB: We make every effort to keep the hot tub functioning perfectly, as it is the most requested amenity. However, mechanical problems may occur that cannot be resolved quickly in this remote area and no refunds are made if this occurs. Enjoy the many other amenities, beautiful surroundings and area adventures during your stay.
Please contact us as soon as possible if your plans change and you must cancel or reschedule your stay. No refunds are permitted due to sudden inclement winter weather – but come anyway and get snowed in with us!
