Real stories from real stays

Great two night stay very nice cabin

Austin Rhodes
Great two night stay very nice cabin.

The cabin itself was very nice and very clean

Steven Lager
The cabin itself was very nice and very clean. cell service was great and we dont have anything bad to say about the cabin. The location on the other hand, is less than ideal. If you are coming to hike and explore the red river gorge expect a 30 min drive to just about everything from the cabin. We brought everything we thought we would need for the day with us and tried to not make trips back to the cabin until the end of the day. For the most part it was tolerable but by the last day my girlfriend and I were both tired of driving all rhe twisty roads back home. Overall it was a great stay and m not saying not to stay here. Just know your going to be doing alot of driving.

The host was very accommodating and answered all of our questions and provided hike information for the Gorge

Julie Thomas
The host was very accommodating and answered all of our questions and provided hike information for the Gorge. The place was clean and beautiful. Great outdoor space with a garage door off of the living area that brought the outside in. The hot tub was clean and hot enough. We were able to sit in the hot tub and watch March Madness. It was a perfect way to relax after a day of hiking.

The location was easy to find and private

Lydia Prather
The location was easy to find and private. The home was well decorated and furnished nicely. The downstairs/living room was difficult to keep warm given it was a extremely cold weekend. The host was easy to communicate with and provided a space heater which was a big help - going from 45 degrees to a comfortable 65 degrees. I would advise some additional attention paid to winterizing and making sure the unit is just as enjoyable in the off season.

We had a wonderful time at White Pine

Chloe Kidd
We had a wonderful time at White Pine. The cabin was very clean, peaceful, and extremely well maintained. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind, and we would absolutely stay here again. The downstairs area was a little dim at night, so adding a bit more lighting could be helpful for future guests. Some shades or curtains over the front door and windows would also be a nice addition. Overall, it was an amazing stay and definitely one of the best cabins we’ve ever visited!

Had a great stay at this cabin

Kyle Palmquist
Had a great stay at this cabin! The hosts were very responsive and helpful. The location is rural and quiet. The cabin is newly built and the kitchen was very well stocked. That was great because we planned to cook all of our meals as there aren’t a ton of restaurants nearby and no grocery stores close that we saw. A couple of things though for those cooking - bring your own salt pepper and olive oil as there is none in the house and no spices at all. The shower in the bathroom is really large with two rain shower heads, which was awesome. The hot tub was a real highlight for us as we visited in winter during a cold period. The hot tub worked great and was clean. The house has two decks which we didn’t use much given cold weather but would be really pleasant other times of the year. The beds were comfy. Overall it was a great stay!

Absolutely loved this cabin

Sarah Larson
Absolutely loved this cabin! Was in a secluded area, but still close enough for going out and finding things to do. Loved the hot tub and outdoor area! Will for sure be coming back in the future!
